Custom Denning, Australia’s oldest bus manufacturer, recently welcomed the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, the Hon Chris Bowen MP, to our St Marys facility for an enlightening tour and discussion.

During the comprehensive tour, Custom Denning's team proudly showcased the state-of -art production facility, offering the Minister an up-close look at the cutting-edge manufacturing processes, technologies, engineering prowess, and designs.
Emphasising the significant contribution to local manufacturing, not only in terms of bus production but also in job creation, upskilling abilities, and strengthening the local supply chain for a sustainable future, and protecting Australia’s sovereign manufacturing capabilities.
Custom Denning's commitment to sustainable transportation was a central theme of the visit. The Element 2 electric buses, capable of operating for an impressive 22 hours on a single charge and recharging in under an hour using pantograph technology, highlight Custom Denning’s dedication to delivering state of the art passenger transport solutions. These advanced vehicles are designed not only to enhance the operations of the delivery partners but also to promote environmentally friendly practices.
