Custom Bus, Sales Team Strengthened

The appointments of Peter Simpson (sales manager for Victoria) and Ben Thurm (sales manager for Qld) have bolstered Custom Bus Groups sales team.

With over 40 years of experience, stalwart of the Bus Industry Peter Simpson commenced his career as a bus body builder, working through the ranks and taking on a sales role in 2000. Peter has since worked for various OEM’s and manufacturers, joining Custom Denning in May 2021.

“I am excited to continue my career with the team at Custom Denning and can see this position being a very rewarding chapter of my career”, said Peter.

Ben joined Custom Denning in June 2021. With a career originating in the heavy vehicle mechanical trade and having worked for both OEM’s and privately owned dealerships in Australia and abroad, Ben has gained experience and knowledge that is both vast and diverse. An example of which is the customer focus skills gained from these previous roles, which will surely serve him well in his role in Qld.

Coming into the new role Ben had this to say, “Faced with the opportunity to work for such an iconic Australian company with a long and proud heritage such as Custom Denning was very appealing to me. Being the oldest bus builders in Australia and understanding the suite of products they offer, combined with the fact that they are Australian Made, it was an easy decision for me to jump on board”.

The new pairing is integral in implementing the groups comprehensive strategy that will be pivotal in delivering increased customer support in sales and after sales and will create a key presence which is paramount in order to strengthen existing relationships and laying the foundations for long lasting relationships.
