In a move to enhance its growing fleet of buses, the Donric Group places a new order with Custom Denning for the supply of three Endeavour city bus bodies, which will be constructed on Scania chassis’.
The three new Endeavour buses will be operated by Sunbury Bus Service (a subsidiary of the Donric Group) and will be deployed in regular route services across the sprawling Sunbury and Macedon Ranges regions.
Matt Baird, the Managing Director of the Donric Group, highlighted their objective, saying, “Our goal is to deliver the best possible service to all our customers and collaborating with Custom Denning has enabled us to achieve this.”
In 2021, Sunbury Bus was Custom Denning’s first customer outside of New South Wales to embrace the battery electric Element model by purchasing three BEV’s.
"Custom Denning kindly allowed us access to an Element bus prior, giving us the opportunity to assess the suitability of the upcoming technology for our specific requirements” Mr. Baird remarked.
In addition to the Element order, the Donric Group also previously purchased two Endeavours built on Volvo chassis for their Kyneton and Bendigo depots, which were both delivered in 2022.
Peter Simpson, the Victorian Relationship Manager at Custom Denning commented on the relationship saying, “I would like to thank Matt and his team for entrusting us to deliver our buses to their growing fleet. I look forward to working closely and continuing our strong relationship in the future!”.
The new order for Custom Denning’s Endeavour buses is anticipated to be fulfilled later this year.
