After completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sydney in 1995, Simon moved straight into the automotive industry, initially in Australia before moving to the UK for several years. During this time, he diversified his experience into software controls working on the team developing the transmission controls for the Bugatti Veyron.
Upon moving back to Australia Simon started working for a small automotive design consultancy. Eventually leading the engineering team and then the company and working on advanced R&D for vehicle OEMs around the world. Simon has been involved in electrifying vehicle powertrains for 15 years and is now leading Custom Denning talented engineering team creating the next generation of Australian designed and made electric vehicles.
